The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department is asking its residents to say 'no' to holiday gatherings.

After a spike in cases were attributed from Thanksgiving, health officials say we can't afford another surge from Christmas and New Year's gatherings.

The next few weeks are critical in battling the spread of covid-19.

A vaccine has arrived, but it's going to take a while for many to receive it.

Officials posted a reminder on Twitter Monday saying enjoy the holidays this year in a way that keeps your friends and family safe.

That means only celebrate with the people you live with, avoid other social gatherings and wear a face and nose covering in public.
